Youth & Teens
(Middle & High School)

Get ready for an incredible journey of faith, friendship, and growth! Our program offers a vibrant space where middle and high school students can explore their identity, learn and practice leadership skills;, deepen their relationship with God, and build lasting connections with peers and mentors. Engaging discussions, dynamic activities, and relevant teachings inspire young hearts to live out their faith in an authentic and impactful way. Join us as we navigate the joys and challenges of adolescence together, fostering a supportive community where students can thrive and make a difference in the world around them.
Our Confirmation program is a transformative journey of faith and self-discovery for teens, usually between ages 12-18. Participants explore foundational aspects of their faith, scripture, and church traditions through interactive discussions, teachings, and activities.
With experienced mentors, students develop a personal relationship with God, understand their spiritual identity, and commit meaningfully to their faith. It's more than knowledge; it's fostering community and empowering youth to live their faith confidently and with compassion.
Join us on this transformative journey as we grow together in faith and prepare for a lifelong walk with God.

The Mark gives financial awards to graduating high school seniors who are actively involved in our church and the community. By offering financial support, we empower our teens to pursue their post-high school goals confidently and we foster their academic, spiritual and personal success.

Our scholarship selection process evaluates recipients based on their demonstrated church involvement, academic achievements, leadership potential, and alignment with our core values. Through the scholarship program, we commit to recognizing and rewarding our young church members who exemplify these qualities.

The Mark also provides college scholarships established by private donors and supports our students who apply for scholarships through the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference and the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the UMC.
