Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide transportation?
Unfortunately, the Freedom School @ The Mark does not provide transportation to and from our sites. On days that we go on field trips, we will bus the scholars from our site to the location of the field trip and return them to the site by normal pick-up time.
What time is pick-up and drop-off for scholars?
Scholars can be dropped off at the site beginning at 8:00 a.m., and pickup is at 3:00 p.m. Parents or guardians are required to check in upon drop-off and sign their scholar out upon pick-up. We are strict about not opening the doors before 8:00 a.m. because we can’t guarantee the staff is available to supervise scholars before that time.

Who can pick up and drop off scholars?
Only the guardian who signed up the scholar can pick them up unless you provide us that person’s information beforehand. You must tell the site coordinator (in writing, signed by an approved adult) who that person is and have them added to the list of approved adults the scholar can leave with. We will check IDs for the first weekand whenever a new adult picks them up to confirm identity. The process may be inconvenient, but we cannot budge on it because it's a matter of child safety.
What ages does your program serve?
Our program serves scholars who have just completed grades K-5.
What is the cost of the program?
We are committed to providing a high-quality summer program to all families. All costs are covered by support from our amazing sponsors.
